I thought the book was very clear to follow. Before I started I bought a number of small clamps to hold pieces in place while glueing them. I made two mistakes, I split the MDF bar across the end of the focussing screen by carelessness but was able to fix it easily by glueing and inserting some small dowels (bamboo meeat skewer). (This was with 75mm f8 and 90mm f6.8 lenses.) Perhaps this is due to failing eyesight. However I found a supplier in Holland who makes superb screens which make focusing easy. Visit www.sheetfilm.be for GVB Groundglass who will make up screens to your dimensions with or without grids. The measurements I gave this supplier were 129.9mm x 101.8mm and the screen supplied to these measurements fitted well. Regards, John ...
